Excursion Palma: We will visit the Castillo de Bellver (the name of the castle means “good view” and it is located on the West side of the Bay of Palma at more than 100 metres above sea level, its’ construction dates back to 1310). Our next stop is a tour around the historical city centre of Palma and a visit to the Cathedral (locally known as “La Seu”, the Cathedral is a Gothic style temple, which is located on the coast with marvelous sea views, out from the old Arabic walls which provided protection to the city centre). Our last stop is the bullring (locally known as the “Coliseo Balear”, its’ construction began in 1928).

Excursion Tramuntana: Valldemossa, idylically located in the middle of a valley, surrounded by the mountain range called the “Sierra de Tramuntana” and only 15 Km from Palma). Its’ unequivocable beauty has been the source of inspiration for artists, musicians and many others alike. On our way there, we will stop at the Son Marroig property, which was the residence of the Archduke Luis Salvador of Austria. In Valldemossa we will visit the “Cartuja” (Carthusian monastery), where illustrious characters such as the genius composer F. Chopin and his partner George Sand once lived. They did not hesitate to affirm that Valldemossa was one of the most beautiful places on Earth. Our next stop is Sóller and its’ famous orange groves, majestically surrounded by mountains belonging to the range called the “Sierra de Alfàbia”. Not to be missed is Sóllers’ romantic and picturesque train, which was inaugurated on 16th April 1912.

Excursion Caves: This trip takes us directly to Montuiri, where we will visit the worldwide famous Orquidea pearl factory. While the magisterial formula is a closely guarded secret, we will be shown how Majorica pearls are made. Our next stop is Porto Cristo, a tourism port which is well known for its’ beauty and its’ many fishing boats. Here we will visit the Caves of Drach, which spand out horizontally at 2.400 metres and are located at 25 m below sea level. The karst coves due their natural undisputable beauty to the sea.
